alright... so it's been a while since i've posted. sorry kids! i kinda just wanted to stay out of the whole "drama" thing. So i just kinda read everyone's comments and kept mine to myself. Cause i'm sure that I probably would have stepped on some toes if I would have said something. I'm in my English class right now. I'm sure I should be listening to all the crap she's rambling about, but I thought... "Hmmm... Maybe I'll do something productive in class today. I haven't posted on my xanga in a while."

I had soooo much fun at the KA/TKE party on Friday! Hillbilly Hoedown was tons of fun! Even if my twin did yell at me all night long!  Although i didn't make it to MS Walk, I got assesed my money, so I guess we're even and that is my punishment for not going. I missed the fun times of the cookout cause I was in Carthage judging their high school dance team tryouts. That made me a little sad. But I heard all about it at the pre-party at the J!!

So, I intended on getting a ton of stuff done yesterday, but instead, I layed around on the president's yard with Brittany ALL DAY LONG!! But i had alot of fun, so I guess that's all that matters. She was studying for her nursing test that she has to today. But I always end up studying with her for some reason. She reads it out loud to me and so I learn it at the same time. It's quite exciting, you guys should try it sometime. Although, you definitely would NOT want me to bring you back to health!! You can leave that to the big one! We had a Chinese picnic on the president's yard yesterday. I know what you're thinking... you're all just jealous you didn't get to come too.

Oh yeah.... for any of you that are wanting to come to Nationals for my dance competition with me, I'm gonna try to get a chalet i think. It is the last week of June (which is my birthday), in Gatlinburg. So just let me know!! It's gonna be so much fun and I'm really excited!

Ok... well class is over, so I have to go study for my Human Geography test!! I love you guys!! Phi Mu rocks my face off!!

My mom sent this to me and when i read it i couldn't quit crying....

You are My Sunshine, My only Sunshine" (Be prepared to get watery eyes!)

Like any good mother, when Karen found out that another baby was on the way, she did what she could to help her 3-year-old son, Michael, prepare for a new sibling. They found out that the new baby was going be a girl, and day after day, night after night, Micharl sang to his sister in mommy's tummy. He was building a bond of love with his little sister before he even met her.

The pregnancy progressed normally for Karen, an active member of the Panther Creek United Methodist Church in Morristown, Tennessee. In time, the labor pains came. Soon it was every five minutes, every three, every minute. But serious complications arose during delivery and Karen found herself in hours labor.

Would a C-section be required? Finally, after a long struggle,Michael's little sister was born. But she was in very serious condition. With a siren howling in the night, the ambulance rushed the infant to the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Knoxville,Tennessee.

The days inched by. The little girl got worse. The pediatrician had to tell the parents there is very little hope. Be prepared for the worst. Karen and her husband contacted a local cemetery about a burial plot. They had fixed up a special room in their house for their new baby but now they found themselves having to plan for a funeral.

Michael, however, kept begging his parents to let him see his sister. I want to sing to her, he kept saying. Week two in intensive care looked as if a funeral would come before the week was over.

Michael kept nagging about singing to his sister, but kids are never allowed in Intensive Care. Karen decided to take Michael whether they liked it or not.

If he didn't see his sister right then, he may never see her alive. She dressed him in an oversized scrub suit and marched him into ICU. I looked like a walking laundry basket. The head nurse recognized him as a child and bellowed, "Get that kid out of here now. No children are allowed."

The mother rose up strong in Karen, and the usually mild-mannered lady glared steel-eyed right into the head nurse's face, her lips a firm line. "He is not leaving until he sings to his sister" she stated. Then Karen towed Michael to his sister's bedside.

He gazed at the tiny infant losing the battle to live. After a moment, he began to sing. In the pure-hearted voice of a 3-year-old, Michael sang: "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy when skies are gray."

Instantly the baby girl seemed to respond. The pulse rate began to calm down and become steady. "Keep on singing, Michael," encouraged Karen with tears in her eyes. "You never know, dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away."

As Michael sang to his sister, the baby's ragged, strained breathing became as smooth as a kitten's purr "Keep on singing, sweetheart." "The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my arms". Michael's little sister began to relax as rest, healing rest, seemed to sweep over her.

"Keep on singing, Michael." Tears had now conquered the face of the bossy head nurse. Karen glowed. "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take

my sunshine away..."

The next day...the very next day...the little girl was well enough to go home.

Woman's Day Magazine called it The Miracle of a Brother's Song. The

medical staff just called it a miracle. Karen called it a miracle of

God's love.

NEVER GIVE UP ON THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE. LOVE IS SO INCREDIBLY POWERFUL.

Ok so... I gave blood today for the first time!! I was really nervous, but Angela went with me, so that made it all better. Although the dude that was doing hers was really hot, he was kinda dumb cause I don't really think that he was doing it right. I started 5 minutes after Angela and was done way before her! But I ALMOST PASSED OUT!! I was sitting there and the lady asked if I was ok and I said yeah, and not even a minute later she came back and my enitre face was white as a ghost. She asked if I was ok again, and I was a little hesitant to say yes this time. I told her that I felt really dizzy, I was sweating like crazy, I felt like i was gonna throw up and my arm was goin numb... but other than that, I was ok! By now, they have decided to put about a million ice packs all over me! I had one on my head, behind my neck, on my chest and one on my stomach!! Then they sat me up and gave me some Sprite and I felt good as new, although I still didn't look good as new. At this point, Angela has gone from sympathy to just laughing at me, because not only do I look like the ghost from christmas past, but i am soaking wet cause they have put so many ice packs on me! But i got a free t-shirt AND some service hours for it, so i guess it was all worth it! Lol.
I am officially going to TKE formal!! I think Jessie Hamby is so excited about the whole thing, she just might pee her pants! I talked to my mom about the whole dilemna and she talked to my dad about it and all he had to say was, " She can go, but I'm not buying her another stupid expensive dress." (Which I didn't want anyway.) But now i do need SOMETHING to wear, so if any of you have dresses, I need them ASAP!
I just want to say that I LOVE MY BIG SISTER!! I guess it's cause I don't have a REAL big sister to go to, but I love her. Although we do nothing but act absolutely RETARDED when we are together, I don't know what I would do without her. She does shit for me that she cares absolutely nothing about, just cause she knows it's important to me. (dance competitions, stepshow, FIJI Island pagents where I get shafted..) And she has even learned how to post on her xanga now! I'm so proud of her.
Went to Strouds today, that was exciting stuff. I don't think I have ever eaten at Strouds that fast in my entire life! I ate my entire meal in like 10 minutes! Cause Traci and Angela were gonna leave me if I didn't eat it. We had to go to Southern Hills to pay the rest of the bill for formal. I had never been there. Formal is gonna be sooo pretty! Angela has worked really hard. Good job 2nd best friend!! SO ALL OF YOU SHOULD GO TO FORMAL!! Speaking of formal...I am still lacking a date... and a dress! Any suggestions?
I'm supposed to go "hang out" with an anonymous person tonite, but i still have a shit ton of stuff to do so i probably won't get around to that.

Well... I'm off like a set of rims at a Puff Daddy concert....

hey kids! i had so fun much thursday night... at least that's what i've been told! I don't really remember a whole lot of it. All i know is I didn't make home (or Jill's apt.) till 5:45 in the morning! Traci got pretty good and mad at me. I was probably being the drunk kid... what a suprise. But I think she loves me again. At least I hope so! And when I went to bed my purse was missing and when I woke up twin had gone to the TKE house to look for it, and it was still missing!! So needless to say, I was stuck in Cookevegas for a good while looking for my purse since it has my keys and everything I own in it. I finally found them and made it home to good 'ole L-town to see the family.

I went shopping at Goody's Saturday with my cousin Jesse and they had sooo much cute stuff! And it was all on sale! It was like Christmas all over again! I went intending to get something to wear for Easter and that was the last thing that ended up in my hands. Who woulda thought?

I am definitely staying at home tonight and not coming to Cookeville until in the morning since 'Hurricane Your Mom' is coming. I don't have to work in Lebanon this week cause they have Spring Break, so when they don't have school, I don't have work. It's kind of a beautiful thing. And now I will actually get to come to meeting since I haven't gotten to come in like 3 weeks, cause we keep having meeting on Monday nights. My little cousin Chapel is out of school this week for Spring Break and she wants to come spend the day at school with me one day this week. So some of you might get to meet an interesting little girl named Chapel... she's 9 going on 19. She's grown up her enitre life with me and her sister Jesse, what can I say. We rubbed off on her a little bit.

I REALLY NEED A FORMAL DATE!! I have no idea who I'm gonna take, or what I'm gonna wear! Since I'm the fat kid these days I probably can't fit into any of my prom dresses. But any of you are welcome to borrow them. So if any of you want to find me a formal date.... THAT WOULD BE WONDERFUL!!!

so i'm sitting at my big one's apt. and with jessie and cara and thought i would share how my day went. i just want to start by saying I LOVE PHI MU!! i have had such and amazing time with all my sisters this semester. Me, Angela, Erica, and Cara went to the Dipsy Doodle tonight. I had never been, so needless to say i was a Dipsy Doodle virgin. But now i'm just a regular D.D. whore!! I'm pretty sure that I am gonna get to move in with Angela in her apt. next semester. And i'm so excited! I'm finally getting out of the dorms!!

We have two basketball games tonight at 9 and 11 so i have to go watch my big one play! I'm definitely getting my drink on tonight since we don't have class tomorrow. Now i know why they call it Good Friday! We're gonna paly NASCAR tonight, so we gotta turn left all night long. And if i turn right i have to drink! Me and beer are B.F.F.

Goin home for Easter to see the family. That will be fun times. Hopefully i will get a new outfit for Easter!! we're lookin on the bright side about that one.

Ok guys, I really need a boyfriend, so if any of you have any spare time, go find me a good one. Cause "..i need a hero. i'm holding out for the hero till the end of the night."

Well, i gotta go start drinking so I'll see you guys later.
